Walter Gooch

My information here is taken from EARLY DOORS by Harold Scott who is not the most clear of writers. He tends to write convoluted sentences of many phrases.

It appears that Walter Gooch was manager of  Metropolitan Music Hall, following Edwin Winder and George Speedy, each of whom had J. J. Poole as his subordinate. Walter Gooch was also a director of the Alhambra.

The other alternative was that Walter Gooch was simply a director of the Alhambra with   J. J. Poole as his subordinate at that place not at the MET.

This question will be resolved as time goes on from my research or as soon as someone else tells me the facts.
