Solo Men
Jas. E. Sullivan
Another mystery performer but possibly with well known connections.
The picture is from the Charley Wilkins collection supplied by Richard T. Jones.
There are few references to this man. There is however, one concerning Arthur Sullivan's brother although there is no Christian name appended.
Talking of G&S's Thespis, their first collaboration, the cast list includes 'Mr.Sullivan (the composer's brother)' from Gaiety, Theatre of Enchantment by W. Macqueen-Pope (1949)
Even Michael Kilgarriff's "Sing us one of the Old Songs" was unhelpful but, he has now put an addendum on the web at http://homepage.virgin.net/m.killy there we find two songs for Sullivan's repertoire.
