Song Writers

G. W. Hunt

G. W. Hunt has been in the limelight already, a very clever and prolific songwriter, who wrote all sorts of songs besides his famous "By Jingo." Research has failed to discover when he died.

"The Melodies Linger On" by Walter Macqueen-Pope

In fact we now know not only when he died but where he is buried. His monument is in process of being restored at Abney Park Cemetary by the British Music Hall Society. FD January 2001
