Charles Gulliver

Mr. Charles Gulliver, one of the founders of the Variety Artists' Federation, was at first the secretary and later the managing director of the London Theatres of Variety Limited. In 1928, a re-organization of this company took place, Gulliver retaining some of the halls owned by the syndicate, including the Holborn Empire. Since then, this hall, together with the Palladium, became the property of the Gaumont British Company
